Day #10 Storefront Stalker Pro

Day 10: Tactical Bucket

What is Tactical Bucket?

Tactical Bucket is where you can go to assemble all of your custom bulk lists for Tactical Arbitrage that don’t necessarily exist primitively in that software. It is the Ferrari of Bulk List Generators.

Wanna quickly optimize your searches by finding the best ASINs? Then you should use the tool “Tactical Bucket!

Like I said before, Tactical Bucket is a tool that lets you quickly generate bulk lists that you can then save and effortlessly import into Tactical Arbitrage.

When you select a site, you can select specific categories or all if you want to help construct a bulk list.

This is very useful when building and/or organizing bulk list XPaths.

What is an X-Path?

An X-Path is the code that most websites use to document their inventory. It lets you shortcut a Bulk list into your Tactical Arbitrage product search. They are essentially how the Tactical Bucket team can scrape data from retailers and storefronts.

This is a list of about 200+ available XPath sourcing sites available for all Tactical Bucket Users. It is very useful and even has some available for sites outside of the US. Since these already exist in TB, you do not need to make a new easy bulk for them.

Private Product Search X-Paths

Private X-Paths are best described as custom XPaths that you can have commissioned specifically for you by Javier, our resident XPath genius!

They do cost extra but they are really useful. They let you set up your own private parameters of sourcing that nobody else can access. You will be able to “Fish in your own pond”, so to speak, and you are guaranteed that nobody else will get that unique XPath for at least 60 days, and even then, they won’t get it un;ess they explicitly request it.

Exclusive XPaths

Exclusive XPaths refer to Xpaths that were really hard to obtain, so they are charged at a higher rate. Javier had to do a lot of programming gymnastics to scrape this data.

They are not custom made, but creating these ones took a lot of effort. The tier level of your membership depends on how many of these you can access.

If you think that there is an X-Path that should be added, you can suggest stores in the top right corner of the page, and Javier will look into it.

Wholesale XPaths

Wholesale XPaths are XPaths that you can use to assemble bulk lists on Wholesellers.

Not everyone will need this, but if you plan to eventually move your business into Wholesale arbitrage, this is one of the tools you should really take advantage of.

Tactical Expander Store List

The Tactical Expander Store List can be used to scrape bulk lists from online retailers. It does this through an integration of Tactical Bucket and Tactical Expander Full.

Multi store Bulk List Generator

The Multi Store Bulk List Generator is a lot like the Bulk List generator, but now you can scan all of the stores at once. Essentially, you can use this to look at one category across multiple stores, which should save you a ton of time!

With this, you can organize by Category, UPC/EAC, and location. You can use this feature to find every Xpath for a given category across multiple stores. This allows you to create custom category searches and will pull up every store that matches your search.

You can also set preferences to filter out which stores you don’t want to scan from for whatever reasons you may have. It is a really good feature for exploring and researching niches.

Store Search Buddy

“Store Search Buddy” lets you find new sources for your favorite niches quickly across TA, Xpath, exclusive & wholesale Sites.

You can also sort by:

  • UPC
  • Image/Title
  • Country
  • Number of Products
  • Categories

It is a great way to quickly find specific products or niches, and it is a ton of fun. If you have no idea where to even start, you could open SSB

Top 500K Best Seller ASINs

From here, you can quickly download the top 500K ASINs from each and every category under the sun according to the current, 30 or 180 day average stats. It is updated regularly to make sure that there are always the most accurate rankings possible.

This section shows us what sites have the top sales within a given category and range. It is really useful when planning your next source or bulk list.

You can sort by varying ranges of average rankings, as well.

On the right hand side you will aslo see a series of buttons in each row.

Today Top 500K: Use this to gather a set range of the 500K and store it in a folder/CSV/ Etc.

Additions: ASINs that have entered the top 500K within the last 1, 7, or 30 days.

Exits: ASINs that have left the top 500K within the last 1, 7, or 30 days.

ASIN Extractor

The ASIN extractor allows you to quickly scan and download all of the ASINs from even the largest Amazon storefronts. All things considered, it is incredible how quickly the ASINs load, often taking as little as 20 minutes.

Keepa can also do this (sort of) but grabs only a fraction of the ASINs when compared to the ASIN Extractor does.

You can use this to go in and grab ASINs from huge storefronts. It is really useful for reverse searches. You can also use this feature to find sellers that you want to model your business after.

You will only have a set amount of extractions that replenish over time.

Top Rated Sellers

Here, you can look at a long list of all the top sellers on amazon and see what ASINs they are selling and what exactly they are doing to foster a successful storefront.

This feature is kind of like Tactical Edge, where you can look up rival sellers within the given parameters. It is useful because you can use this info to look into potential markets and see what the competition is like. Not only does it tell you who you are competing against, but you can also find the ASINs that other successful sellers are listing within that vertical.

Your storefront is only going to be either better or worse than your competitors, so you might as well learn where your competition stands so that you can emulate them.

This feature is essentially storefront stalker on steroids!

Discount Lists

Discount lists allow you to quickly find ASINs that align with the kind of deals and discounts that you want to see.

This page makes sure that you don’t miss out on any doorbuster sales from retailers within desired categories. This also lets you import these deals into your product search to help with your Tactical Arbitrage.

You can then sort your discounts by:

  • Total Discounts
  • GC
  • CashBack
  • And Store Discounts

This feature allows you to find new sites that you never may have even heard of. The more unique sites you find, the better!

The filter “Show only TB verified” shows only data that has been checked and personally verified by a member of the TB team.

TA Easy Bulk Coverage

This lets you know what sites are supported, which ones are supported, and which ones are unable to be turned into an easy bulk. It is useful to keep tabs on the state of sites, especially if you Tactical Bucket a lot.

For example, in this chart, we see that 1000bulbs.com is supported by Easy Bulk, while a4c.com on the bottom of the chart is not supported. TB will routinely check and make sure that this is up to date.

TA Bulk Lists

You can use this feature to quickly generate a bulk list from a specific site to be used in Tactical Arbitrage.

It is a really effective way to transition your bulklists right from TB into TA.

Tactical Expander: Full & Lite

Tactical Expander is a chrome extension that allows you to quickly scan storefronts and retail sites (depending on the version you own) and compile it all into runnable lists and CSVs.

Tactical Expander Full

This Chrome extension is the premium version of Tactical Expander. It has everything that the lite version does, but it doesn’t stop there!

It also lets you fully extrapolate data from all across the internet. It also adds over 280 more sites than the traditional Tactical Arbitrage software, with more being added every week.

Because TE is not limited by the API, it will lead you into way more nooks and crannies than you’d get just from TA, making it well worth the cost if you are having a hard time getting enough leads.

Note: You only need either the lite version or the full version. At the moment, Tactical Expander (Full) is only available as a monthly subscription, but Tactical Expander is available as a lifetime license.

Wanna know the best part of Tactical Expander? You can scrape a site even if it isn’t part of TA or TB!

Once you have that scrape, THEN YOU CAN RUN IT THROUGH TA!

Tactical Expander Lite

Tactical Expander Lite is a google chrome extension that optimizes software like Tactical Arbitrage. If you are familiar with the old model, it is basically what Storefront Stalker pro used to be.

With Tactical Expander Lite, you can pull ASINs from storefronts an unlimited number of times. You also have the ability to “spy” on rival storefronts and see what they're selling.

Day 10 Q+A

Do we have to pay separately for the 3 tacticals? No. TA and TB are separate, and TB has a free version available, but there are bundles available.

Does Walmart work in TA?Not as well as it once did because WalMart is having API issues.

Did TA add new websites for sourcing? They’ll usually let you know through the blog section.

Does Javier still offer the God Mode?Yes, but you’ll need to contact him.

How much does it cost to add a private XPath?$23

Will Automated XPaths eat up minutes?Yes, unfortunately. I would go in and run a small test scan. If you can find a profitable return, then make it a part of your process.

Do you need TA in order to use TB?Not necessarily, but TA is the best way to optimize your TB scans.

Do you continue to try new things when sourcing?Yeah, but once I find an effective system, the really important thing about that is to

  • Test it
  • Share your ideas with people you trust.

What should I get 1st: TA or TB?TA, personally.

Are TE and TE Lite the same thing? I’m confused. No, TE Lite is only able to scan keywords and storefronts. TE, however, is able to scan Keywords, Storefronts, AND online retail sites.

Is Manual Sourcing the best way to earn money until you can afford TA?I wouldn’t want to pressure you into buying all this software now, but I want to make sure you know they exist and how you can use them to get a profit.

The Order of priority is Keepa → TA → TB?Yes, that is the responsible way to do that. All the tools that we talk about beyond Keepa just exist to save yourself time, so the only priority is keepa. Once you need to buy your time back, that is where TA, TB and TE come in.

Is SellerAmp also a necessity? No, but it is again one of those time-savers that you can leverage when it makes financial sense.
